I haven’t always understood the powerful influence of my female friendships. It is a gift to share this journey with some incredibly strong, intelligent, compassionate, amazing women.

Lately, I have been blessed with the gift of connecting and reconnecting with several wonderful friends who have rejuvenated my soul.

Is it because I live in a house full of boys? Maybe.

Is it because we are all going through some kind of challenge and we realize how much we need these connections? Maybe.

Is it because women are super heroes, rock stars, mermaids and unicorns wrapped up in perfectly imperfect packages? Probably.

Life is challenging. Politics is everywhere. Things are expensive.
